Message from the President
Become someone who will lead the development of their homeland ,equipped with deep sensitivity and a global world view.
President Akira Ikeda
After the Meiji era, students learnt technology at existing institutions abroad and brought it back. Is has been the driving force behind Japan's amazing modrnization. Since Japan is one of the most advanced countries, it is our duty to cultivate foreign students who wish to learn from Japan. Furthermore, I believe that we can build a strong reciprocity relationship and increase mutual understanding with cross-border human exchange.
Since our establishment in 2002, we have turned out over 1,000 graduates. Not only teaching Japanese, but we fully supported the process of foreign students to grow as human beings. Most of them are going to highter education such as domestic universities and technical colleges after graduation and willing to strive to play a role in their own countries' development.
I hope you will learn more about Japanese world-class technology and traditional culture. This will help you become a human resource that has a global perspective and a sense of creativity which will contribute to your own countries' developments.
